The pressure of poo coming out of the Flamingo I’m not a hot mess I’m a spicy disaster shirt the gland to release a bit of the fluid with the poo so that the poo gets scented with the cat’s own specific anal gland scent. Animals also sometimes release the contents if they are startled. My cat does it if I give her a fright by picking her up too quickly like when I am teasing her and just snatch her up to give her a cuddle. I no longer do this because she releases her anal glands and I get the smelly contents all over my arm and clothing she has trained me well!
