The Nats fought back for sure but our Albert Almora Catches Everything Chicago Cubs shirt incredible offense and it was a great game. So much to love about this W. A phenomenal AB from Schwarber, opposite field knocks by him and Willy, hits galore, Almora going yard and showing that he is on fire lately, Hamels getting out of some tight jams, Javy with two BBs and hitting to extend his hitting streak to 15 games, and of course KB x 3 marking his 26th game reaching. So good in so many ways. Think about Schwarber, Bryant, Rizzo, Baez, and Contreras going off at the same time. Those last two innings were what makes me love baseball and hopefully, that inspires the team and especially the BP, I know its still early but awesome guts! Gritty at the end with a fabulous save from Cishek.
