Remaking movies over and Official baby Grinch and baby Jack Skellington shirt because we have 0 imagination for new stories. Why would you have Cumberbatch voice this character in anything other than his gorgeous natural voice? Ugh! This is awful. And why isn’t Cumberbatch using his Smaug voice or something deeper than this? Would’ve been much more villain-ish. This voice is just plain silly. Benedict Cumberbatch does not have the right voice for the Grinch. Idk who made that executive decision but something needs to be changed. The cartoon is a fantastic movie. There was no reason to remake it as live action and there’s no reason for this. Sorry, doesn’t even come close to Boris. But I could see kids enjoying it at least those who haven’t been raised on the original.
